Pablo Flores / Head Instructor
3rd Degree Black Belt | Over 23 Years of Experience
Born in Toronto and raised in the competitive heart of Rio de Janeiro, Pablo Flores has dedicated over 23 years to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As a 3rd Degree Black Belt under GFTeam Brazil, his foundation was built under the mentorship of the legendary Master Roberto "Gordo" Correia.
By training for years with the pioneer of the modern half-guard, Pablo inherited a deep, technical understanding of the "Old School" Rio style, which he has successfully shared with students for over a decade. His teaching philosophy at BJJ United is rooted in the belief that Jiu-Jitsu is a tool for life—combining technical precision with the core values of discipline, family, and relentless excellence.
Isabele Flores
Blue Belt | Elite Competitive Athlete & Instructor
Isabele Gava Flores is a standout athlete of the new generation, bringing a modern and dynamic energy to BJJ United. Immersed in the sport from a young age, she has rapidly climbed the ranks to become a high-level competitor on the international stage.
With a proven track record in major IBJJF and AJP Tour championships, Isabele translates her tournament experience into effective mentorship for our younger students and teammates. She represents the perfect balance of technical innovation and the competitive grit required for the modern era of the sport. Beyond her medals, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where the next generation can thrive through focus and hard work.

Known for his positive energy, respect, and strong alignment with our values, Bryan helps foster a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. He leads by example, showing that growth in Jiu-Jitsu comes from discipline, consistency, and a genuine passion for learning.
Bruna Cross

At the gym, Bruna focuses on keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes (from finances to planning) helping create a stable and well-structured environment for both students and staff. Her goal is to support the growth of BJJ United while maintaining a professional and welcoming space for the entire community.
